Adam Woodbury Commits to the Iowa Hawkeyes

This is just in. Center Adam Woodbuy has made his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes. The 42nd ranked player in the nation according to Rivals chose the Hawks over North Carolina. Woodbury joins fellow four-star recruit Mike Gesell, Kyle Meyer, and Pat Ingram to the Class of 2012. As of today, this was pretty much a known fact. Throughout this process, Iowa made Woodbury their number one target. Other schools like UNC and Ohio State made him a second or third option. Fran McCaffery was all over Adam from the very start and it has paid off in a big way. I will be shocked if the Hawkeyes do not make the NCAA tournament next year. With a very experienced team that will not lose a whole ton, Iowa should be brimming with talent in 2012. Woodbury has the skills to start right away.
