I have been traveling across the northeast this summer, so updates have been very limited. For that I apologies. However, we have had a major transfer to the AE. Well, major if you are a UVM fan. Marist guard Candon Rusin, a native son of Vermont, has transferred to UVM. He will have to sit out this upcoming season, per NCAA rules, but will have two years of eligibility for the Catamounts.

In two years with the Red Foxes, without question one of the worst programs in NCAA these past two years, Rusin led the team in scoring as a freshman and third in scoring as a sophomore. With the Red Foxes, Rusin nailed down 105 three-pointers. He played three years of high school ball in Wilmington, Vt.

A solid pick-up for new head coach John Becker. Welcome to the AE!

OOC GAMES FOR AE TEAMS
We promised to update out-of-conference games as the summer went on. Here are some new games that we have discovered. Remember, not all of these are confirmed:

Boston - at Texas (11/13 - Legends Classic); vs. Quinnipiac
Vermont - at St. Louis; vs. Quinnipiac
Hartford - at Quinnipiac
Stony Brook - at Indiana

Once again, excellent work by the AE teams. Stony Brook was confirmed for Indiana back in April. It will be the season opener and is a potential win for the Seawolves. BU got a great game at Texas.

Vermont's schedule continues to impress. If they can pull off a bunch of upsets, your talking about a mid-major at-large NCAA Tournament team. Also, Garvey returns to Patrick...will UVM fans make him feel welcome?

Also, it seems that Hartford doesn't like to leave the state of Connecticut. Three games that we know of...all in Connecticut.

Finally, UAlbany vs. Siena has been confirmed for December 5 at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY.
