Class of 2013 power forward Akoy Agau tells Courier-Journal recruiting writer Steve Jones, who joined me yesterday on the radio show, that Rick Pitino and Kareem Richardson will visit him today in Omaha, NE. Agau, who is originally a native of the Sudan, took an official visit to Louisville over the weekend. According to his interview with the Courier-Journal, Agua enjoyed his visit. “It went well. I went to the football game. I went around the campus. I watched a little practice. I got some time to talk to coach (Rick Pitino). It went really well,” Agau tells Jones. Agau, a 4-star prospect, has had a close relationship with Louisville assistant Kareem Richardson from his time at Xavier. He will visit Georgetown for their midnight madness in October. Agau says the Cards and the Hoyas are the current top two schools on his list. He is also showing a lot of interest in West Virginia. Here is Jones’ lengthy interview with Agau. This is a must read.
