Seems that the Kentucky Pros are not ready to hang up their jerseys yet as WKYT is reporting on a possible "Kentucky Pros versus Kentucky Villians" basketball games or series. Sounds like a fantastic idea and I am already pumped for it. Rajon Rondo, Nazr Mohammed, Tayshaun Prince, Chuck Hayes, Jodie Meeks, DeAndre Liggins, Josh Harrellson, Eric Bledsoe, Patrick Patterson and Kelenna Azubuike have all already confirmed their interest and you have to figure Wall and Boogie will not be far behind. As for the villians? Well, the names Joakin Noah and Tyler Hansborough are already being tossed around. Here is a list of the tentative tour dates for the UK pros:

Oct. 8: University of Pikeville at the Expo Center
Oct. 9: Alice Lloyd College at Knott Central High School
Oct. 10: Georgetown College at Mason County High School
Oct. 12: Union College at Pulaski County High School
Oct. 13: Mid-Continent University at Graves County High School

Chris Walker, one of the top rated players for the 2013 class, will be making his college announcement on November 15. Walker has been considered a Kentucky lean for a long time, but there still seems to be confusion as to whether Walker currently holds a UK offer. Walker's twitter account is full of shout outs to the BBN however, so it seems that if Calipari really wants Walker, he is there for the taking. Walker sent out a tweet of his potential suitors and if you are a fan of capitalization, you can guess where Walker may still be leaning:

"uf uconn UK fsu osu ku kstate or bu"
There was not all bad news for Kentucky football over the weekend as Kentucky landed a pair of recruits, which help to make Joker's 2012 class possibly the deepest class ever. Here is a bit on the two new recruits:
LB Kadeem Thomas - 6'0, 226 pound Inside Linebacker from Tallahassee, FL and a *** prospect. Thomas is listed as the 37th best LB recruit in the class and had offers from Louisville, Tennessee, and South Carolina among others.
RB Shadrach Thornton - 6'0, 190 pound running back from Hinesville, GA. Thornton is the 36th best RB recruit in the class and had offers from Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, and Vandy. Thornton is still a "soft commit", meaning he will take his other visits. I'm not saying that I like the idea .... as a matter of fact, I kind of hate it, but Mark Story has an notion that due to the struggling football program, Kentucky should bolt to the ACC. Other people are on the same train of thought and think UK should join the Big 10, which I hate as well. I assume he makes some valid points, but I don't have to like them.

Kentucky hosted 2014's top basketball player, Andrew Wiggins, on an unofficial visit to Lexington. His Huntington Prep team mate Xavier Rathan-Mayes also came along for the visit.
