Some excellent news coming out of upstate New York. According to FoxSports.com's Jeff Goodman, Greer Wright will be sticking around Binghamton next year. In his twitter he writes...
Binghamton's top player, Greer Wright, told FOXSports.com he will stay at school and not transfer. Academics played part in decision.
This is a major, major deal for the Bearcats, who are continuing to rebuild. He averaged 15 points and 6.1 rebounds last season for the Bearcats. He was the clear team MVP, finishing as a First Team All-Conference in his first season in the AE. Despite losing Dylan Talley, keeping Greer allows Binghamton to have a serious chance to do damage in the conference this upcoming season.

Also out of Binghamton earlier this week was the news that the Bearcats have a new assistant coach. FDU associate head coach Ron Brown has joined BU for the upcoming season. Brown has also worked with LIU, Western Kentucky and served as head coach at Florida A&M for three seasons in the 1990's.

Overall, good news all-around for Binghamton!
