Houston Astros pitcher Shawn Chacon got into a physical altercation with general manager Ed Wade before yesterday’s game against the Rangers at Minute Maid Park resulting in Chacon being suspended from the team indefinitely. Chacon had recently been demoted to the bullpen and had asked for a trade on Sunday through his agent, Dan Horwits. As reported by the Houston Chronicle (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bb/5857104.html), matters did not get ugly until yesterday when Chacon was asked by manager Cecil Cooper to come to his office: I said, 'What do you want to speak to me about?'
