Florida basketball coach Billy Donovan told the Gainesville Sun tonight he has allowed suspended forward Cody Larson to rejoin the team. He had been suspended since April. Larson and teammate Erik Murphy were arrested April 10 and charged with felony counts of burglary. They allegedly tried to break into a car. The charges later were reduced to misdemeanors, and both players agreed to deferred prosecution. “I think both those guys have been through a lot,” Donovan told the Sun. “I think both those guys are really, really remorseful. I don’t think the incident is a reflection of who they are as people. They come from great families.” Donovan reinstated Murphy over the summer. He told the Sun neither player would be suspended from games this season. There was concern that Larson would have to serve jail time because the April arrest violated the terms of his probation in his home state of South Dakota. That was resolved last week, when a judge opted essentially to extend his probation...
