Just when you thought it was safe to play college basketball, you might run the risk of getting attacked by a live bat.
Earlier today, a Big East showdown at the Bradley Center between Providence and Marquette got an uninvited guest as a bat decided to cause havoc and fly near the court.
Keep an eye on Providence's Sidiki Johnson who attempts to bat the flying creature away but ends up falling onto the court:
Below is another clip of the bat causing general mayhem:
The game was ultimately stopped to corral the bat and when it concluded, Marquette scored a 81-71 victory.
