When the North Carolina Tar Heels signed up for the Las Vegas Invitational they knew the UNLV Runnin' Rebels were no pushover. Under new head coach Dave Rice the Rebels' display key traits from the 1990 NCAA Championship team that once featured players like Larry Johnson, Stacey Augmon and even the head coach. The top-ranked Tarheels previously won the LVI in 2007 and now will need to attack the hometown Rebels to stay undefeated. North Carolina has looked the part of the best team in the nation as they are off to a 5-0 start and dismantled South Carolina by 25 points on Friday. UNC has won each of their games by double digits as the closest a team has been was Michigan Sate in the opener 67-55.
