USC landed a key recruit yesterday, junior college shooting guard JT Terrell, a 6′-3″ sophomore from Peninsula College in Washington. Many will remember Terrell formerly as a blue chip shooting guard recruit from West Charlotte (NC), that started 18 games as a freshman last year at Wake Forest, prior to leaving the school after an off-season DWI arrest. Terrell will be the second recent transfer from the Demon Deacons to the Trojans, as forward Ari Stewart previously switched coasts. Assuming Terrell can gain maturity and learn from his off the court mistake, he projects as an immediate scoring option and potential Pac – 12 star if he utilizes his potential and finds himself in a role that allows him shots.
