Enhanced Box Score

BC trailed only 38-35 at half with strong efforts from Dallas Elmore and Josh Southern. The Eagles executed the offensive game plan effectively by getting the ball down low and scoring in the paint. They were not able to do so in the second half.

They quickly let the game get out of hand at the start of the second half. BC pushed the lead to 13 before the first media timeout of the half.

The Eagles had just one player in double-figures (Reggie Jackson with 20 points). BC's three point shooting continued to struggle shooting just 1-10 from behind the arc. Rakim Sanders was limited to just 3 points on 1-8 shooting.

Boston College must improve their man-to-man defense or else we may be in for a long season. We saw this team compete the way we expected they would in the first half only to see a complete turnaround in the second. It will take a full 40 minutes of high-quality basketball to compete during this difficult stretch of games and I hope this team has it in them to keep fighting.
