Iowa Hawkeye Basketball just came off one of their biggest road win’s in school’s history at Wisconsin over the weekend. They had to turnaround and play on the road again at Minnesota last night and did not have any hangover from Madison. Iowa entered Williams Arena Wednesday night with a swagger and confidence that they haven’t had in Iowa City in sometime beating out the Minnesota Golden Gophers 64-62. Led by senior Matt Gatens with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and the bench play of Aaron White and Bryce Cartwright, Iowa exploded in the 2nd half to take out the Golden Gophers. Iowa is now 10-6 overall but more importantly 2-1 in Big Ten conference play, with both wins coming on the road. Iowa will really answer the question this Saturday at home against Ohio State, which is, “Has Iowa basketball turned the corner?” A win against the #7 team in the nation will truly have Iowa fans filling in Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season.

Tubby, this is your warning.
