Georgia Tech is taking the week off for exams but practicing twice. Head coach Brian Gregory talked with the local media Tuesday and gave his thoughts on the Yellow Jackets' progress this season.
The Georgia Tech faithful were pleasantly surprised when they awoke this morning to the news that four-star athlete Justin Thomas had decommitted from the University of Alabama, and was instead offering his verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.

A lot of Brandon Reed's game is built around speed and quickness, but he needed to slow down. So, a while back, Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory told the sophomore guard just that: slow down.It appears to have taken.After a fairly dreadful shooting stretch, Reed's put together back-to-back games where he's not only played much better but made the Yellow Jackets notably better as well.

Georgia Tech had its seventh bowl practice Monday. They’ll have three more this week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, taking off for finals...

After taking a week off for final exams, the Georgia Tech women's basketball team (6-3) will resume action Friday, Dec. 16, when it travels across Atlanta to take on city rival Georgia State (3-4) at the GSU Sports Arena in a 7 p.m. tilt.
