With Peyton Siva out tonight with a concussion, Elisha Justice will have a chance to prove himself as a reliable back-up point guard. Pitino has said numerous times that Gorgui Dieng is the most irreplaceable player on this years team. However, the majority of Louisville fans seem to think it’s Peyton Siva. I realize Siva is the key to this team, but if you look at the back-ups at both the point guard and center positions, I think it’s a no brainer that Gorgui Dieng needs to be on the floor more minutes per game than any other player. I realize Elisha Justice is not nearly as talented as Peyton Siva and there are a lot of things that Siva can do that Elisha Justice just isn’t capable of. Siva is the guy who can make this offense shine, no doubt about it. But I’m confident that Elisha Justice is good enough to be in the rotation for the Cards.
