The horrific broken right leg suffered by Louisville Cardinals guard Kevin Ware during Sunday’s NCAA Midwest Regional final was seen by millions, shocking one and all with the gruesome nature of the injury. Millions more either decided to track down images and video of the play on the Internet or avoid the shocking nature entirely. Obviously, what Ware has gone through since the injury occurred is almost unimaginable, but his tragic experience has not come at the expense of his unshakeable will and indomitable spirit. Photos of him holding the regional championship trophy in his hospital bed have inspired legions of fans who are now tracking his recovery on Twitter and other forms social media. Recently, Ware has changed his Twitter avatar, and the update is phenomenal. Via @billionairebev (by way of Game On!): Fantastic. Along with the new Twitter avatar, Ware tweeted the following message on Tuesday morning: Back to my brothers I go. twitter.com/_billionairebe… — Kevin Ware (@_billionairebev) April 2, 2013 Here’s to the fastest recovery possible for Ware. One way or another, something tells me this young man going to be just fine.
