We interrupt your regularly-schedule programming to alert you to a change in the Syracuse Orange Basketball C.J. Fair Headband Threat Level System. Due to recent developments, we have lowered the C.J. Fair Headband Threat Level from YELLOW to ORANGE (C.J. is staying!). We have lowered the CJFHTL due to the announcement that the Commence Jubiliation Fair (H/T: Matt) is returning to Syracuse for his senior season. "After talking it over with my family and my coaches, I decided another year at Syracuse was best for me," said Fair. "I'm excited about working hard with my teammates to put together another great season and graduating has also been a goal of mine." Fair had considered entering this year’s NBA draft. However, after gathering information from the NBA’s Undergraduate Advisory Committee that indicated he was not guaranteed to be a first round pick, Fair elected to return to Syracuse University. Callmemaybe Jensen Fair will now enter the 2013-2014 season with a legit shot at ACC Player of the Year as SU's on-court leader and playmaker. He's a much-needed anchor for a team that will going through a big transition up top. Having Fair alongslide Rakeem Christmas, Jerami Grant, Baye Keita and DaJuan Coleman at the bottom of the zone is huge. We now return you to your regularly-scheduled programming. Please start breathing again.   This article was originally published at http://nunesmagician.com (an SB Nation blog). C.J. Fair: 'I Can Make A Strong Case To Be The ACC Player Of The Year'

Syracuse Orange fans were elated Wednesday to hear that forward C.J. Fair would return for his senior season. A day earlier, multiple reports saying he was going pro/staying/still undecided left us all dazed and confused. Turns out, we had good reason to be confused since C.J. was even more confused than we were. "On Sunday, I had decided to stay one more year," Fair...

Exclusive: Syracuse OG Zach Chibane Pre-Draft Interview

It was nice to catch up with my good friend, Zach Chibane of the Syracuse Orange. Zach is headed to the NFL after a stand-out career on Doug Marrone’s offensive line at Syracuse University. I had the opportunity to chat with Zach again recently about his path to the draft since we had last spoken. Zach is excited to hear he may be drafted as high as the 5th round on Saturday...

First Round NFL Draft Grades: New York Giants

PICK: Justin Pugh, OT/G, SyracuseANALYSIS: I hate this pick so much. I question whether or not he can even be a tackle in the NFL; a right tackle at best. I've always seen him as more of a guard. I've never had Pugh graded as a first round prospect, despite all the recent hype about him. I really think there are much better lineman in this draft, and plenty of better defensive...
