The story of how wheelchair-bound NC State student Will Privette rushed the floor, was knocked to the ground by a horde of students and was saved from being trampled by Wolfpack star C.J. Leslie following Saturday’s upset of Duke now has a national audience.
“I saw him and I picked him up, and at first I thought he was going to be a little traumatized,” Leslie said. “But when he got in my arms he started cheering, so I just started cheering with him. We cheered for about three or four minutes, but after that I had to put him down because my arm was getting a little tired.”
