GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Devin Booker scored 15 points Friday night to lead a balanced Clemson attack in a 72-55 win at Furman.
K.J. McDaniels scored 11 and Demarcus Harrison 10 as Clemson (2-0) ran its string of victories over the Paladins to 29 straight.
Rod Hall had nine points, six assists and no turnovers as Clemson had eight players with at least six points.
It was Clemson's first appearance at Timmons Arena on the Furman University campus and its first on a Furman home court in 30 years.
Stephen Croone led Furman (1-2) with 15 points. Bryant Irwin scored 14 and Collin Reddick 13.
Clemson led by as many as 23 points in the second half. The Tigers shot 49.1 percent from the field (28 of 57), committed eight turnovers and outrebounded the Paladins 31-24. Furman hit 46.2 percent (18 of 39) of its shots.
The Tigers led 41-24 at halftime and stretched the lead to 24 points, 51-27, as Furman failed to score a field goal in the second half until Bryant Irwin drained a 3-pointer with 16:23 to play.
After swapping the lead five times in the first six minutes, Clemson launched an 11-0 run midway through the opening half for a 28-13 lead with 6:43 to play.
Furman has a home game Monday with Brevard. Clemson plays Gonzaga on Thanksgiving in the first of three weekend games at the Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla.
