In another scrappy ACC encounter the Clemson Tigers continues to prove why they're one of the top contenders in the conference. Without much flash from the scoring department the squad clamped down on defense, pressuring their opponent to take risky, low percentage shots from the outside. From the field Georgia Tech actually shot better at 40% compared to Clemson's 37.5%. The high scorer for the Tigers, Terrence Oglesby finished the game with 18 points. He nailed 5 three-pointers yet experienced an off-game due to a dreadful cold. The stifling defense was enough to give Clemson the edge. Going through a rough spell now the Yellow Jackets have fell to 9-10 without much support at times from their bench.
