It was a home game of sorts for some of Colorado’s men’s basketball players Thursday night in L.A.
Buffnation was in full force as several of CU’s players are from the LA area, meaning their families were in attendance to watch the Buffs run the Trojans right out of the Galen Center 74-50. Once again it was another balanced scoring night for the Buffaloes with Andre Roberson leading the way with 13 pts and 10 reb, his twelfth double-double of the season. Roberson is in the top 10 of the country for double-doubles and 4th in the country for overall rebounding.
Five CU players scored in double digits as the Buffs went on a 24-3 run spanning from the end of the first half to the beginning of the second. to take control of the game. Notching their first Pac-12 road win in school history the Buffs moved to 14-6 overall but it was also the first time that Colorado has won a conference game on the road by 20+ points since beating Oklahoma in 1969.
