Wes Eikmeier scored 24 points while hitting six 3-pointers to help Colorado State beat Division 2 CSU-Pueblo 97-82 in an exhibition game Tuesday night.
Will Bell had 17 points and Greg Smith added 14 for Colorado State. The Rams were 10-for-22 from behind the 3-point line and shot 56 percent from the field.
Andre Martin led Colorado State-Pueblo of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with 19 points.
The Rams broke the game open midway through the second half. Ryan Arel's 3-pointer and a free throw by Kevin Coates pulled CSU-Pueblo to within 68-59, but Eikmeier keyed a 15-4 run to put the game away.
