(AP) -- On the verge of opening 7-0 for the second straight season, Creighton has been rolling behind Doug McDermott's outstanding play.
The 11th-ranked Bluejays, though, have also continued to prove that they're anything but a one-man show.
Creighton hosts Boise State in the Mountain West-Missouri Valley challenge Wednesday night.
One night after scoring a season-high 30 points in an 84-74 win over Wisconsin, McDermott had 29 along with nine rebounds as the Bluejays (6-0) beat Arizona State 87-73 to win the Las Vegas Invitational on Saturday.
The reigning MVC player of the year was 10 of 19 from the field and made eight of 11 free throws, helping to hold off the Sun Devils' second-half rally.
