Ohio State swingman David Lighty is opting out of NBA pre-draft camps, and some think that's a mistake.
Lighty is expected to either be a second-rounder or go undrafted. The defensive stopper would have to fit a particular team's needs in order to be drafted in the second-round most believe.
It's a curious move to opt-out of pre-draft camps, because if he goes undrafted then he'll have to show his stuff eventually at NBA summer camp in order to get a shot at the league.
In all likelihood, Lighty would prefer that teams look at his intangibles and the game film he left behind at Ohio State.
