Virginia Tech guard Malcolm Delaney, the ACC’s top scorer during the 2009-10 season, is returning to school.The 6-3, 190-pound junior from Baltimore said last Saturday that he has withdrawn from consideration for the NBA Draft.Delaney averaged 20.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists on a 25-9 (10-6 ACC) team last season.The Hokies failed to land an NCAA Tournament bid but won twice in the NIT.With Delaney, Seth Greenberg’s eighth Virginia Tech team could be picked as high as second (behind Duke) in the 2010-11 preseason league polls.
