By Josh Evans – Seth Curry, Ryan Kelly, and Mason Plumlee showed Kentucky that leadership and experience does matter, and can propel you to victory when instituted! One question that writers have had about Duke last year, and was a question mark this year is LEADERSHIP! Many have compared this Duke team to the 2010 national championship team, and I have even agreed. The problem is that 2010 team had incredible team leadership. Sure Thomas, Zoubek, Scheyer, Singler, and Smith were not the greatest NBA athletes to play at Duke, but they were veterans, and always showed leadership. This season Duke has Curry, Kelly, and Plumlee who are all 3 seniors, and have tons of experience. Can they be the same leaders as the 2010 leaders? Maybe not quite, but last night’s victory over a young but extremely talented Kentucky team gave all Duke fans hope that they have potential to lead throughout this season.
