Jorge Brian Diaz has left Nebraska.
Diaz will be returning to his homeland of Puerto Rico. He could potentially start a professional career once he figures out his chronic foot issues.
He was hampered by the chronic foot issues throughout this season. He missed the final 14 games of the regular season.
His decision leaves new head coach Tim Miles with an entirely new starting lineup. Four of the five starters were seniors, and Diaz was a junior.
He was second on the team in scoring. He averaged 8.6 points and 4.3 rebounds this season.
