Olson hit 9-of-14 shots from the field — including 6-of-8 from 3-point range — while leading the Pioneers to a 75-67 victory Saturday at Magness Arena. The victory gave Denver a 12-11 record, the first time the Pioneers have been over .500 this season.
Also, DU coach Joe Scott announced Monday that freshman Drick Bernstine's request to leave the team has been granted. Bernstine came to DU from Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora. He played in 13 games, averaging 2.1 points and 2.4 rebounds
