What could liven up the 84-64 beatdown No. 1 Duke put on Maryland on Saturday? How about a pair of dunk-of-the-year candidates? Sophomore Alex Len gave the visiting Terrapins an early boost with a follow-through reverse jam five minutes into the game, but Blue Devils senior standout Mason Plumlee did Len one better 25 minutes later, turning Quinn Cook’s missed layup into a thunderous reverse slam of his own — though Plumlee did pick up a technical for some after-the-whistle antics. Check out both dunks in the videos below.

#1 Duke’s 90-63 loss at Miami on Wednesday night was the third-worst in history for a team ranked No. 1 in The Associated Press poll and the worst anyone has seen in 45 years. Early today, Maryland's... Full story at Bob's Blitz ~ http://www.bobsblitz.com

Mason Plumlee’s Reverse Put-Back Dunk Gets Play of the Weekend Honors

How are you going to T Miles up here? Let the kid celebrate a ridiculous play for crying out loud. I looked around and there were some pretty sweet plays this weekend, but I have to give it to Miles. He gives the white man some hope. For those of you that care, Duke wiped out Maryland in this game 84-64.

Duke must regain its FIGHT today against Maryland

Quite possibly the worst performance from a Duke basketball team since Coach K has taken over as coach.  The first ten minutes were predicated on solid Duke defense and Duke just not being able to hit an open shot.  Miami gets hot and Duke stays cold, the score is 29-15 Miami with five minutes left in the first half and Duke calls a timeout.  These last five minutes of the first...

Duke rebounds with big win over Maryland

How would Duke respond after their beat down put to them by Miami this past Wednesday night? That was the question of the day, and boy did Duke respond! Duke responded in stellar fashion. Duke was able to beat the Maryland Terrapins who boasted a much taller front line than Duke 84-64. Right from the opening tip, Duke’s energy was high, and their intensity was through the roof...
