Well, so far this year is shaping up like last year, with the Eagles being linked to every possible elite WR and thus far with absolutely nothing to show for it. The most recent rumor, arising from the owners meetings, is that the Eagles are interested in trading for the Browns WR Braylon Edwards, and the Browns, having already traded Kellen Winslow and likely lost Dante Stallworth to prison or suspension, are looking to give QB Brady Quinn no shot at having a decent first season by trading away every single offensive player on the team. The specific rumor is Edwards for Reggie Brown and some “lesser picks.” So I guess not a 1st rounder. If we can get Edwards without giving up a 1st rounder, you do it, despite his new found love of dropping passes. In a vacuum, I still take Boldin though, but he will cost more.
