The three plays that broke the Tigers’ back. First up, Ty Lawson on the break gets the layup to fall and one giving UNC a 67-63 lead. The next play down Danny Green misses a three but Wayne Ellington tracks the ball down in the corner and tips it out to Green who drills the 2nd attempt to give UNC a seven point edge. The Heels concluded the run with Lawson nearly breaking Bo Spencer’s ankles with a nasty crossover. No wonder Spencer was whining after the game.

Update: Just to illustrate how nasty Lawson’s crossover was and how much of a blinking fool it made Spencer look like here is a freeze frame of a split second after the move. Check out the distance Lawson created with the move and his speed. Unbelievable.
