Erin Andrews, a FOX Sports broadcaster and Florida alum, lost a bet to NFL Network’s Rich Eisen, a Michigan Man, following the Gators 79-59 loss to the Wolverines in the Elite Eight on Sunday. The wager? Andrews had to change here Twitter avatar to a photo of Eisen. According to a tweet from Andrews, that avatar must remain on her account for the next three days while The Rich Eisen Podcast gets some free publicity from Andrews’ 1.7 million Twitter followers. Misery loves company, as Andrews is attempting to spark a new friendly bet between Eisen and ESPN play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico, a Syracuse grad. Reload or Rebuild? Gators' outlook for 2013-14

The Gators had a solid, but unspectacular season. Six of the fifteen presason top 25s I tracked in the Vitale Cup included the Gators in their preseason top 10, and it's likely that fewer prognosticators will be that bullish this year. UF graduates Kenny Boynton, Mike Rosario and Erik Murphy, and there's a solid chance that junior Patric Young departs early for the draft...

Bench provides lift as Gators knock out FGCU

ARLINGTON, Texas -- They don't have a T-shirt with caricatures in their honor plastered across the front or even a nickname. As a collective group, this trio is more substance than flash. Reserves Will Yeguete, Michael Frazier and Casey Prather are critical to Florida's success but they garnered little attention leading into Friday night's showdown with Florida Gulf Coast...

Burke, Albrecht not enough for U-M

Spike Albrecht shined while Trey Burke sat. After all that, Michigan and Louisville were still pretty much even. Then the Wolverines couldn't stop Louisville in the second half. With Burke on the bench in early foul trouble, the seldom-used Albrecht scored 17 points in the first half, and the Wolverines led by 12 in Monday night's national title game. But that lead was...

Michigan exchanges high fives with FGCU team after win over Kansas

The what ifs of March Madness. Michigan advanced to the Elite 8 after beating Kansas on Friday night thanks to the heroic effort from Trey Burke.
