Examining the Xavier Musketeers

The Xavier Musketeers have had a tumultuous season to say the least. They came out of the gate 8-0 with wins over Vanderbilt, Georgia, Purdue and Cincinnati. A brawl against the Bearcats sent Tu Holloway, Mark Lyons, Dez Wells and the winning streak to the bench. Xavier got blown out against Oral Roberts at home, dominated by Long Beach State and upset by horrible Hawaii before getting a win over Southern Illinois in the Diamondhead Classic. Back on the mainland, Xavier dropped games against Gonzaga and LaSalle to dropping them to 9-5. Xavier has run off 4 straight, but the question many want to know is if Xavier has turned the corner for good. The first thing that catches the wandering eye when you look at the Xavier stat sheet are the points given up in the games before and after the suspensions.
