Georgia Tech freshman big man Derrick Favors has entered the NBA Draft. Most expected this move when he signed with the Yellow Jackets last offseason.
“I look forward to taking this next step in my basketball career,” Favors said in a statement. “The time is right, and this is the best decision for me and my family.”
Favors is the second Georgia Tech player to enter the NBA Draft. He joins Gani Lawal, who has hired an agent officially and will not be back next season. Favors has not officially signed with an agent but most expect that announcement is coming soon.
