There was no sitting on the fence for Virginia Tech this past March. Instead of waiting anxiously to learn if they were included in the NCAA Tournament, the Hokies werent a factor this time around.
Like in seven of Seth Greenbergs first eight seasons at Tech, the Hokies werent part of the NCAA Tournament, and in fact finished the season with a losing overall record and were tied for last place in the ACC.
Virginia Tech had some solid players, such as guard Erick Green, but a variation of issues kept this team from developing into a more formidable squad. In the end, it was a season that pretty much has Greenberg on a hot seat entering next season. At some point, something has to give in Blacksburg.
