Listen to Brandon Triche with D.A. here:
Triche joined D.A. on CBS Sports Radio the night of the win. D.A.’s show can be heard on The Score 1260 in Syracuse every weeknight.
Is Triche’s heightened play because he’s motivated to leave a legacy at SU?
“Yeah. It’s all about winning. We came together as a team, and personally I wanted to play well.”
How important was winning a few games and playing well at MSG when the regular season ended so frustratingly?
“That’s the main thing we wanted to do. We wanted to get our swagger back. We...

Former Syracuse assistant coach Bernie Fine is suing ESPN on grounds of defamation. Their charges helped cost him his job.
If all Syracuse point guard Michael Carter-Williams needed to worry about lately was basketball, that would have been plenty.
Could he generate enough offense to help the defense-first Orange get to the Final Four?
Could he take advantage of the NCAA tournament spotlight to improve NBA teams' opinions of him?
There also was this on Carter-Williams' mind, though: His family...

During Syracuse's upset win last night over Indiana in the 2013 NCAA tournament, CBS cameras caught one Orangemen fan wearing a mask of head coach Jim Boeheim.

While the Syracuse Orange celebrates its big win over Indiana on Thursday night, a high-profile former coach is opening a legal battle in attempt to clear his name.
In November 2011, ESPN published a damning story focusing on then-Syracuse head coach Bernie Fine, reporting the claims of two former ball boys — Bobby Davis and his stepbrother Mike Lang — saying that Fine sexually...
It has been quite the journey for Indiana basketball the past five seasons, and though the program is nationally revelant once again, the group that brought them back was completely lost last night against Syracuse and their zone. The best way to stifle a fastbreak team in basketball is to slow down the game, and there is no better way of doing that than by using a defense that minimizes...
If you tuned in to Syracuse’s 61-50 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers in the second half you would’ve noticed Orange center Baye Keita sporting a bandage on his forehead. The video above shows you exactly why the Syracuse center needed a bandage after he landed face first on the court after attempting to block a Cody Zeller shot. The fall caused a laceration that was quickly...
On Thursday, the AP broke a story that former Syracuse assistant Bernie Fine has filed a defamation lawsuit against ESPN.
The wording here is interesting:
