OCMonitor.com At this time last year is when everything changed for UofL men’s basketball manager, Logan Baumann. During the team’s first week of practice, Baumann was in charge of doing the team’s laundry. However, after former guard Mike Marra went down with a season ending knee injury, Rick Pitino called Buamann in his office and asked him if he’d like to join the team as a walk-on. As you could expect, Baumann gladly accepted the offer. Fortunately, the Ohio County, KY., native’s one season in a Louisville uniform ended with a national championship. Kenny Klein confirmed to the Courier-Journal that Baumann is now back to being a full-time manager for the program. He played in just four games last season, connecting on a pair of free-throws against Miami (OH) for his only collegiate points. As a senior in high school, Baumann led the Ohio County Eagles to a 29-3 record as a senior in 2011-12, a number nine ranking in the state and a 10th district championship. He was voted as the...
