Devin Robinson, a 6-foot-8 hybrid forward from Church View, VA., has been actively recruited by Louisville throughout the summer, but didn’t have a scholarship offer from the Cards. That changed over the weekend as Rick Pitino finally extended an official offer to Robinson.
He is one of the many front-court prospects from the 2014 class that has a Louisville scholarship offer. There has been some debate as to which position Robinson will play at the next level. He’s always been more of a front-court player, but throughout the summer he’s shown a lot of versatility. Robinson is a wiry 6-foot-8 athlete that can run the floor, pass well and has a nice shooting touch.
Robinson is rated as a four star prospect by Scout.com. He’s ranked as the sixth best power forward in the 2014 class. Louisville assistant coach Kevin Keatts has played a big role in Robinson’s recruitment. Rick Pitino has also been involved.
