The Eagles return 5 seniors and 6 juniors
The Eagles coach, Levelle Moton is in his second season as the head coach at NCCU. Last year the Eagles are in their 4th season as a division one program and ended last season with a 7-22 record.
The Eagles are 1-2 this season with a win over Johnson and Wales University and losses to the Unviversity of Oklahoma in overtime and the University of Miami.
After three games there are two Eagles who average in double figures, C.J. Wilkerson with 19 PPG and Landon Clement with 15.7 PPG. Nick Chasten averages 9 PPG.
C.J. Wilkerson, a 6’3” senior guard scored 26 points against Johnson and Wales University, 16 points against the University of Oklahoma and 27 points against the University of Miami.
The three tallest players on the Eagles roster are all 6’8”; sophomore David Best, sophomore Dijon Manns and junior Tracy O’Neal. The leading rebounder for the Eagles is 6’7” forward junior Nick Chasten.
