University of Wisconsin junior guard Josh Gasser suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during practice Saturday and will miss the entire 2012-13 season, the UW sports medicine staff announced. It was announced by the athletic communications staff that Badgers basketball starting point guard Josh Gasser suffered an ACL tear in his knee and will miss the entire 2012-13 season.
According to the announcement the injury happened during the team's practice on Saturday morning and Gasser will be re-evaluated later this week before undergoing surgery shortly after.

Yesterday was certainly not a stellar day for Wisconsin athletics. After losing a heartbreaking game in overtime to rival Michigan State, the football team also recieved news that Quarterback Joel Stave is going to miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone.
