There was plenty to be excited about on Monday night following Louisville’s 76-51 win over Cincinnati. The Cardinals are clicking at the perfect time and have won nine of their last ten games. Rick Pitino was briefly honored with a video ceremony following the game for earning his 300th win as the head coach of the Louisville program. It was what Pitino said following the ceremony that shifted the mood amongst Card Nation. Pitino said during his post game press conference that he will encourage Gorgui Dieng to be a part of Louisville’s Senior Day festivities on Saturday as the Cards host Notre Dame in the final game of the regular season. Dieng is just a junior, but is being projected as a first round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. “Gorgui Dieng will probably come out for senior night. I’m encouraging him to come out. If he’s a first round draft choice he will, but he will not sign with an agent. He’s more than given us everything we’ve asked for. It’s in his best interest to come out ...
