The kid's name is Johan van Zegeren, a 6'10" 21-year old Dutch player. This is alarming to me because every time we go out to get a foreign player it's a reach and it seems like just grabbing a big body for the sake of a big body (see Robert Krabbendam). Although, with the transfer of Manny Atkins, the Hokies had an additional scholarship to use. However, the Hokies were the only D-I team to offer van Zegeren.
