Mississippi’s Murphy Holloway is transferring for personal reasons. Some reports, including one from TheState.com, are saying that Holloway will transfer to Clemson.
Holloway averaged 10.1 PPG and 7.6 RPG last season for the Rebels.
Losing Holloway is tough for the Rebels because they appeared to be the favorites on paper to win the SEC West next season. The State.com’s report says that Holloway and Clemson have made no contact because Mississippi has not officially released the forward from his scholarship.
