Give it up to our boy Hot Dog. He may have found out some really interesting news regarding potential Player of the Year candidate John Holland. Holland wrote on his Facebook the other night that he will not be playing for BU next season. Instead it looks like he will be going to Greece to play for the elite basketball team Olympiakos.
If true, this could be a major blow to the Terriers for next season. Despite having a deep freshman class, Holland would have been a cog to a team that clearly look to be the favorites to win the conference next season. This news may change all that. Obviously more on this to come in the near future.
At the same time, The Daily Free Press sat down with Corey Lowe and explained the entire situation as to why he was not allowed to play in the CBI Tournament after the victory against Oregon State. In what seems to be a minor mistake, Lowe sat with an agent and left coach Chambers little answers but to not allow him to play. A sad why for a great player to end his college career.
