The Arena Pulse PS:
Keaton Miles/rivals.comBy Paul Seaver (TheArenaPulse) West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins kept his hot streak going on Wednesday with the addition of his sixth commitment for 2011, four of which have popped in the last three days.
The additions of both Ryan Boatright and Jabarie Hinds, alongside Pat Forsythe since Monday have vaulted the Mountaineers up the class rankings. They will continue to climb with their most recent addition, as well.
On Wednesday, Keaton Miles verbally committed to West Virginia.
At 6-foot-6, Miles is considered a small forward, but his abilities tend to take him inside the three-point line. A great contributor in and around the goal, Miles excels in the mid-range game and his length makes him a tough defender on the perimeter.
The native of Dallas, Texas currently attends Lincoln H.S. (TX) joining Boatright, Hinds, Forsythe, along with previous commits Tommie McCune and Aaron Brown. According to ESPNU, Huggins recent surge over the past few days has lifted the class up to No. 10 in the rankings.
As West Virginia enters this season looking to replace highly productive contributors DeSean Butler and Devin Ebanks from a season ago, a solid class to lean on heading forward can assure Huggins for the future and focus on another tough season in the Big East.
Miles chose West Virginia over Penn State, Houston, Wichita State, and Texas Tech.
