Murphy Burnatowski has left Maine. The school announced last week that he was transferring and Maine was giving him his release. That now means that the Black Bears are losing five of their top eight scorers from last season.
Burnatowski sat the final four games of the season for the Black Bears. From what I can see, a rift was created between Burnatowski and Woodward. In being asked why he was sat, he told the newspaper that the team had depth and went with a different rotation. That worked out for Maine didn't it?
