Indiana Self-Reports Another Phone Call Violation, This One by Tom Crean

Coach Crean owes IU fans an explanation for a report Tuesday night at IndyStar.com that says the basketball program self-reported an extra recruiting call made by Tom Crean and his coaching staff back in October. In the grand scheme of things, the violation was minor, and is relatively routine in the world of college basketball, but because of IU's recent history with illegal phone calls, it's a little bit bigger deal in Bloomington than it might be elsewhere.
