Hide the little ones for this unnerving report gentlemen as the following story contains NSFW language. Kansas picked up a controversial 108-96 overtime win at Iowa State on Monday in a tremendous game unfortunately marred by poor officiating and now ignorant ISU fans. Kansas point guard Elijah Johnson drew a reach-in foul on the Cyclones’ Georges Niang with five seconds remaining in regulation, moments after a questionable no charge call on Johnson’s hard drive to the bucket.  Johnson sank both free throws to tie the game before abusing ISU in overtime as he finished with a career-high 39 points. The last two of those 39 came after Johnson flew downcourt unguarded for an unnecessary, yet mildly amusing, one-handed hammer in the closing seconds of OT. Rousing boos filled Hilton Coliseum during postgame interviews as students began hurling items at Kansas players as they ran for the tunnel.  An idiotic fan even proceeded to confront Bill Self as he left the court. As reported by Busted Coverage, the real fireworks started after the game when two classy Iowa State students tweeted out racial slurs and death threats to Elijah Johnson and Kansas.     Local police are investigating the messages and one would imagine both students will receive signficant discipline for their comments.   [Busted Coverage] Article found on: Cosby Sweaters
