Remember a few weeks ago when it looked like Kansas State was going to go from a preseason top 5 team to the NIT? Remember a few weeks ago when it looked like Texas might run through the Big 12 without losing?
Forget about both of those ideas.
The Wildcats knocked off Texas on Monday night, the Longhorns third Big 12 loss (and second loss in three days), and probably secured themselves an at large spot. Meanwhile the Longhorns continue to slide and for the first time, find themselves out of control in the Big 12. If Kansas wins its final two games, the Jayhawks will win the conference regular season title and secure the top seed in the Big 12 tournament.
