For a few weeks now, there has been a dirty little rumor circulating the blogosphere that Louisville forward Kevin Ware was temporarily thrown off of the Cardinals basketball team earlier this summer for multiple violations of the same team rule. And while nobody at Louisville has confirmed the story, they’ve haven’t exactly denied it either.
Tim Sullivan of the Courier-Journal spoke with Ware’s mother, who may have added even more fuel to the fire with the below quote:
While it appears she was careful with her wording, this won’t do much to quiet the chatter – that’s for sure. We’ll keep you updated.
