Know Your Opponent: West Virginia Mountaineers

Tomorrow at 3 on ESPNU, the Cincinnati Bearcats had to Morgantown for a huge matchup with the West Virginia Mountaineers. West Virginia comes into the game on a 2 game win streak, having won 4 of 5. Cincinnati has won 10 of 11, including 3 in a row. Both teams sit high atop the Big East standings. Both are among the hottest teams in the Big East. West Virginia has put double digit margins on all of their 2012 wins. That included one the other day against a team Cincinnati lost to, Marshall. The Mountaineers have a sell out on their hands and they always have a passionate crowd that will throw stuff at Evan Turner. Oh, and there is the little matter that West Virginia's coach was one of the greatest in Cincinnati history, and was forced to leave on horrible terms. Even though we are all over it (at least we should be), there is still something odd about seeing Bob Huggins on the sideline yelling at team that's not Cincinnati.
